Mr. Jarrett Proctor
Our Assistant Principal
Jarrett Proctor is a
native of Columbus, GA, and has lived in the metro-Atlanta area for over
five years. Mr. Proctor earned a Bachelor’s of Chemistry from Fort
Valley State University in Fort Valley, GA. He began his teaching career
as a Chemistry and Physics instructor in Nashville, TN. During this
time, he enrolled in Lipscomb University earning a Master of Education
in Instructional Leadership. Mr. Proctor returned to Georgia, and began
teaching Mathematics with Clayton County Public Schools.
He soon pursued studies in Educational Leadership at Columbus State University. He has taught 6th, 7th, and 8th
grade Mathematics, in addition to Algebra 1. Mr. Proctor has worked
heavily with supporting gifted/honors programs, school discipline, and
data-driven instruction. Today, Mr. Proctor is excited to continue his
educational journey as an Assistant Principal at Morrow Middle School.
He has a sincere passion for changing the lives of our students one day
at a time. Mr. Proctor’s favorite quote is from Dr. Martin Luther King
Jr. “Intelligence Plus Character: That is the True Goal of Education”.
