  The staff from Southern Regional Medical Center (SRMC) has partnered with the CCPS Student Health team and they will be offering COVID19 Booster shots at Morrow Middle School on Thursday March 31, 2022.   SRMC will be administering the Pfizer Booster Vaccines to students 12 and older as well as vaccines to Walk-ins from 9am - 11am.   Any staff interested in getting a booster vaccine can do so at this time as well.  Consent forms can be found on the school's website as well as available in the clinic. Please see me if you have any additional questions or concerns. Teacher's please share this information with parents via your communication platforms.

• CCPS has launched school based testing sites at all schools beginning September 20, 2021. Testing is available to all staff and students daily, participation is optional and the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test (nasal swab) is the test being used. Staff can register using the QR code and see HCT to schedule a time for testing. Parents are required to consent and register using the QR code BEFORE student testing. After registration, the confirmation code will be emailed to the email address you provided when registering. You must bring the confirmation code with you in order to be tested (NO EXCEPTIONS)! Click here for Covid-19 Testing Registration Information

The CCPS Student Health Team in collaboration with Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services will offer on-site COVID-19 vaccines for CCPS students, at our secondary schools, during the school day.

CCPS students, 12 years or older, whose parents/guardians wish for them to receive the vaccine, can receive their two doses of the Pfizer vaccine at school with parental/guardian consent. The vaccine is free and voluntary.  Attached are the dates and school locations of the vaccination clinics.  The registration link and consent form (we will also have paper copies of the consent form available in the school clinics) below should be used to pre-register for the school-based clinics.

Staff who are immunocompromised requiring a third dose of the vaccine will need to visit our clinic at Lovejoy Middle School on Wednesday’s from 5:00-7:00 p.m. beginning 9/15. We will keep you posted on the third dose as our Medical Director release information.
